Information

The Applet Cache Manager is an application that reduces the start time of Java applets. The HiPath 4000 administration applications require the installation of the Applet Cache Manager.

Diagnosis

Installation status of the Applet Cache Manager:

ERROR: This Java applet requires Java 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition, v1.3.1 and enabling of Active-X controls and plug-ins for execution.

• If a green check () appears, the correct version of the Applet Cache Manager is installed and you may proceed with the next step.
• If a red stop sign () appears, you haven't installed the Applet Cache Manager or the installed version is out of date.
